Data analysis for the social sciences, with Claude Code
This site carries the setup instructions and working conventions for the course. Start with Student setup — it takes about fifteen minutes and should be done before the first session. If you were given a server account, read Server access next.

What this course assumes
You know basic statistics and can read code, but you are not a software engineer. The tooling here exists so that your analysis is reproducible by someone else — that is the actual deliverable, not the number at the end.
Getting help
Inside Claude Code, /status shows which account and configuration are
active, /permissions shows what it may touch in your project, and
/usage shows how much of your weekly allowance is left.
